It features two campuses designed to provide an outstanding education: one dedicated to Early Years, Primary and Secondary education, and the other, known as BSV Nexus, exclusively for Sixth Form students.

Based on the British curriculum, our teaching aims to strengthen the cultural ties between Britain and Spain, encouraging the integration of our students, motivating and stimulating them at an academic and personal level.
BSV is recognised by both the British and Spanish education authorities. Students obtain both official certificates: A-Level and Spanish Bachillerato qualifications.
The school nurtures an all-round personal development, fostering students鈥� individuality and social integration for them to tackle future social and professional responsibilities.

Mr Capper is an experienced school and system leader. Prior to joining BSV he was Headteacher at The Marvell College, a large Secondary school in the North of England and prior to that he was Head of Teaching School at The Pathfinder Teaching School Hub in York. These roles afforded him a breadth of experiences both in supporting schools and developing staff.

Students from Year 8 and Year 10 recently took part in the prestigious British Physics Olympiad, one of the most recognised physics competitions worldwide. Organised by the University of Oxford, this challenge tests students鈥� talent, critical thinking and ability to solve complex problems. Nuestros alumnos de Year 3 disfrutaron de un aut茅ntico banquete romano tras haber trabajado este apasionante tema en clase. No falt贸 detalle: vestidos con t煤nicas, como gladiadores, senadores, emperadores y ciudadanos romanos, se metieron de lleno en la experiencia. Entre quesos, uvas y otros manjares, lo pasaron en grande mientras daban vida a la historia. Este tipo de actividades permiten aprender de forma vivencial, fomentan la creatividad y ayudan a consolidar conocimientos de una manera divertida y significativa.
Our Year 3 students enjoyed a truly authentic Roman banquet after exploring this fascinating topic in class. Every detail was carefully considered: dressed in tunics as gladiators, senators, emperors and Roman citizens, they fully immersed themselves in the experience. Whilst tasting cheeses, grapes and other delicacies, they had a fantastic time bringing history to life. Activities like this encourage experiential learning, spark creativity and help consolidate knowledge in a fun and meaningful way.

Aprender a reaccionar ante una emergencia, saber c贸mo actuar en los primeros minutos y adquirir herramientas b谩sicas de asistencia no solo es una habilidad muy valiosa, sino tambi茅n un aprendizaje que fomenta la responsabilidad, la empat铆a y la seguridad personal y colectiva. Creemos firmemente que este tipo de experiencias preparan a nuestros alumnos para la vida m谩s all谩 del aula, d谩ndoles la confianza para actuar con calma y eficacia en situaciones reales.
Our Year 12 and Year 13 students have taken part in practical first aid training, an initiative they requested. Learning how to respond in an emergency, knowing how to act in the first few minutes, and acquiring basic first aid skills is not only a highly valuable ability, but also a learning experience that fosters responsibility, empathy, and both personal and collective safety. We strongly believe that these types of experiences prepare our students for life beyond the classroom, giving them the confidence to act calmly and effectively in real-life situations.

Los alumnos de Reception han disfrutado mucho con el cuento 鈥楾he Gruffalo鈥�, de Julia Donaldson 馃惥鉁�. Se lo han pasado en grande aprendiendo a narrarlo por s铆 mismos, utilizando mapas y gestos que les ayudan a recordar cada parte de la historia. Adem谩s, han dado rienda suelta a su creatividad creando su propio Gruffalo, usando plastilina, alambres de manualidades, botones 隆y mucho m谩s! 馃帹馃挕. 隆Un aprendizaje lleno de imaginaci贸n, expresi贸n y diversi贸n!
Reception children have thoroughly enjoyed exploring the story 鈥楾he Gruffalo鈥� by Julia Donaldson 馃惥鉁�. They have had great fun learning to retell the story independently, using story maps and actions to help them remember each part. They also unleashed their creativity by making their very own Gruffalo, using plasticine, pipe cleaners, buttons and more! 馃帹馃挕. A wonderful learning experience full of imagination, expression and fun!

Before the Fallas holidays, we were delighted to welcome a group of nine French students and their teachers from Redon, France 馃嚝馃嚪. Their visit is part of a cultural and linguistic exchange with Lyc茅e Marcel Callo. Our Year 12 and Year 13 French students have been collaborating with them through a pen-pal project and by creating a shared online magazine 馃摑馃實. A wonderful opportunity to connect, learn and celebrate languages together!
