Based on the British curriculum, our teaching aims to strengthen the cultural ties between Britain and Spain, encouraging the integration of our students, motivating and stimulating them at an academic and personal level.
BSV is recognised by both the British and Spanish education authorities. Students obtain both official certificates: A-Level and Spanish Bachillerato qualifications.

Mr Capper is an experienced school and system leader. Prior to joining BSV he was Headteacher at The Marvell College, a large Secondary school in the North of England and prior to that he was Head of Teaching School at The Pathfinder Teaching School Hub in York. These roles afforded him a breadth of experiences both in supporting schools and developing staff.

Today it鈥檚 the turn of our Year 5 and Year 6 students 馃弮鈥嶁檪锔忊毥 who enjoyed a fantastic Sports Day, taking part in a range of activities and challenges prepared by our P.E. teachers. In addition, this year they had the opportunity to hold their Sports Day at the Malilla, a setting that truly makes a difference and allowed them to enjoy the experience as the oldest pupils in Primary.

At BSV, we believe that education extends beyond the classroom. This is why we were pleased to welcome the Valencia Local Police 馃懏馃殦馃懏鈥�, who delivered tailored sessions for our Year 8, Year 9 and Year 10 students on digital identity, first aid and natural disasters. These initiatives provide valuable practical knowledge and essential life skills, helping students develop the confidence, responsibility and awareness needed to navigate a wide range of real-life situations. Durante la salida, han observado distintas especies vegetales, tomado notas y aprendido a identificar elementos clave del ecosistema urbano. 馃尶鉁� Our Primary Eco-Rangers team visited the Parque Central to carry out their own research into plants and the natural environment. During the trip, they observed a variety of plant species, took notes, and learnt how to identify key features of the urban ecosystem. It was a hands-on experience that allowed them to connect classroom learning with the real world, whilst developing their scientific curiosity and commitment to caring for the environment 馃尡馃攳. Durante el d铆a, vinieron al colegio disfrazados y participaron en divertidas actividades, incluyendo una emocionante b煤squeda del tesoro por el patio 馃椇锔忊湪. Arrr! 鈽狅笍馃彺鈥嶁槧锔� Our Year 1 students enjoyed a real pirate adventure. During the day, they came to school dressed up and took part in fun activities, including an exciting treasure hunt around the playground 馃椇锔忊湪. They also received a very special visit from one of the class dads, who is an illustrator and shared his talent with the children by teaching them how to draw a real pirate 馃帹馃懆鈥嶐煄�. A day full of imagination, creativity and lots of fun that they will never forget! 鈿擆煉�

Nuestros alumnos de Year 6 han combinado ciencia y creatividad a trav茅s de su proyecto de marionetas de sombras. Despu茅s de dise帽ar y construir sus propios teatros de sombras, los ni帽os experimentaron con la luz y las sombras para dar vida a sus historias mediante peque帽as representaciones teatrales. Our Year 6 students have been combining science and creativity through their shadow puppets project. After designing and building their own shadow theatres, the children experimented with light and shade to bring their stories to life through small theatrical performances. A wonderful activity that combined imagination, creativity and hands-on learning 鉁煄�

馃殥鉁� Our Nursery students enjoyed a very special visit today! As part of their learning about the people who care for and protect us such as police officers, healthcare professionals, firefighters and other essential workers. They had the opportunity to learn all about the work of a firefighter. Our children were very excited and listened so attentively to everything he explained about his day-to-day job. They also enjoyed looking at real photographs from his work, discovering how he helps people and learning more about the important role firefighters play every day 馃懆鈥嶐煔掆潳锔�

En Year 2 han estado descubriendo el mundo de los superh茅roes鈥� y tambi茅n algo muy importante: que existen muchos tipos de familias 鉂わ笍. Para celebrar el D铆a de las Familias, nuestros alumnos recibieron una visita muy especial de Spiderman y Gwen Stacy, que nos sorprendieron con una incre铆ble exhibici贸n de sus 鈥渟uperpoderes鈥� acrob谩ticos 馃暦锔忊湪. Porque una familia puede estar formada por mam谩, pap谩, hermanos, abuelos, primos, mascotas鈥� y tambi茅n por personas que nos cuidan, nos acompa帽an y nos hacen sentir queridos cada d铆a. Igual que Spiderman y Gwen forman su propio equipo, nuestros alumnos tambi茅n forman el suyo 馃挮
In Year 2, they have been exploring the world of superheroes鈥� and also something very important: that there are many different types of families 鉂わ笍. To celebrate Family Day, our students received a very special visit from Spiderman and Gwen Stacy, who surprised us with an amazing display of their acrobatic 鈥渟uperpowers鈥� 馃暦锔忊湪. Because a family can be made up of mum, dad, siblings, grandparents, cousins, pets鈥� and also the people who care for us, support us and make us feel loved every day. Just as Spiderman and Gwen form their own team, our students form theirs too 馃挮
